I started CK's Wildlife Creations because
of my love for the Wild Turkey. I experienced my first turkey hunt on April 24th, 2000. My husband took me out for the
first time and it was amazing! Just sitting and listening to the morning sounds of birds and everything coming alive!
Then within 30 minutes of sitting down to wait we heard the first gobble of the day. I was so excited, my husband called
the big tom in for me and I harvested that beautiful bird. He now hangs on my living room wall, and every time I look
at him I think back to that crisp, clear morning that started my love for this magnificent bird.
When I paint on these feathers I am reminded of our Awesome God
that created all of the wonderful things for us to enjoy, whether we just go and watch or if He provides an opportunity for
us to harvest one of His beautiful creatures. I believe in the conservation of the Wild Turkey and hope to enjoy many
more years of hunting with my gun or just my camera.

These feathers are matted and framed
with either pine, walnut, or some other special wood. I make all my mats and frames.
